I joined the Practice in 1983 and became a Senior Partner in 1988. In the early 90's I became increasingly involved in occupational health with local companies and this work made me decide to take my Diploma in Occupational Medicine in 1995. Whilst studying for the exam I realised I was very interested in the work as it combined general practice with many other areas of medicine as well as legal and epidemiological fields.I subsequently undertook the exams for Associateship of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine which I passed in January 1999. I decided to concentrate on full-time occupational health work and started Taylor-Mohrs Occupational Health Services in August 2007.
