Architect Rick ten Doeschate MSc. is one of the co-founders of CIVIC; office for public architecture. He also co-founded The Cloud Collective, a multidisciplinary cooperative of spatial design offices. The main focus of CIVIC is the design of public structures and buildings with a high level of complexity, as well as reuse and transformation of built heritage. In addition, Rick teaches and lectures at various architecture schools.Rick graduated at Eindhoven University of Technology (cum laude) and also studied in Valencia, Spain. He gained experience in the field of public architecture and urban design at various offices in the Netherlands and while working in close cooperation with Ton Venhoeven and Rients Dijkstra in their roles as National government advisor on infrastructure & the city.
