He was Executive Producer and Story Editor of the original 13-episode Star Wars audio drama series for Lucasfilm, NPR and the BBC, and his productions are credited with increasing the audience for public radio in America by 40%. His audio adaptations included work by Raymond Chandler and Damon Knight (SciFi) in addition to audio docudramas on the Vietnam War and psychoanalytic case histories.He has worked with notable figures in film, theatre, and television, and his handbook Playwriting Seminars 2.0, is widely used by playwrights, screenwriters, and literary managers in the US and Europe, and was an Armstrong Award nominee for Creative Use of the Radio (Audio) Medium.
