In his prior role, he was tasked with the creation & delivery of the strategic IT direction at the startup aha insurance (Ignite Insurance).He was orchestrating a very ambitious build of the startup's capabilities across several vendors both on and offshore. Innovation and quick time to market are key to Ignite's success. Prior, Rick serviced all of RSA Canada’s business units including: RSA Insurance, Johnson Insurance, Lifestyle Insurance and RSA Travel businesses. His key deliverables and responsibilities included: 1. The creation and enhancements to a digital strategy that supports data driven, user centric and best in class responsive designs and 2. The delivery of several web and mobile sites to support these strategies. Most notably: johnson.ca, rsaBroker.ca, petsPlusUs.com and carInsurance.ca. His managed a team that can rapidly scale to meet business demand through the use of overflow vendors & partners.The past four years was spent creating the practice, building the team and the delivery capability required to support and delivery the digital strategy.
