"Rick Wilking is one of the nation's premier veteran award-winning photographers working today. He is highly sought after for corporate work, news assignments and is doing UAV aerial photography work after getting his FAA license in 2016. Working as a journalist for 45 years, he has taken that experience and applied it to corporate work giving a unique look to architecture, construction and many other assignments.He's covered some of the most important defining events in the U.S. in the last decade including 9/11, Hurricane Katrina and six U.S. presidents. He's traveled the world (over 70 countries) shooting major news and sports events, including 7 Olympics, and has been published in virtually every major news outlet world-wide through his work for Reuters and many others.He spent 8 years based in Zurich covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa before moving to Washington, DC where he worked for 9 years including as Personal Photographer to the President at the White House. He is a photo consultant for Best Buy, Sony Digital Imaging and others.He recently added author to his biography having published his first book, a memoir titled "The Last Hummingbird." His second book "Longform" highlights his documentary photography.
