Transformed many thousands of disparate data files in a repeatable manner (dstfixer, excel_to_ff, yld_to_csv). Refined QA process for monthly data batch processing by transforming SQL results into easier-to-read spreadsheets. Automated many manual business and back-end data processes by writing Ruby programs (mandv, make_csv_files, maxxer, get_model_outputs, collect_files_for_ida) and making web service calls in JMeter scripts. Operated in an Amazon Web Services environment, utilizing EC2, S3, RDS, Route 53 via UI and SDKs.

Maintained and updated existing Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment properties, using a variety of PHP technologies and frameworks (Drupal, Joomla, Zend, vBulletin). Led a successful user migration effort of 1.3M users from one version of vBulletin forum software to another. Prototyped a RESTful web service with MongoDB, NodeJS, and Redis to deliver gameplay data to the public.

Developed, deployed and provided technical leadership for an external sales and partner enablement portal (go.endeca.com), implemented on Liferay CMS. Performed numerous maintenance tasks and customizations on in-house enterprise software such as Alfresco, Confluence Wiki, and Day CQ. Provided development, support and consulting on numerous in-house Endeca MDEX applications.

Served as a Senior Technical Consultant for Endeca's Information Access Platform (MDEX, Guided Navigation). Designed and developed MDEX ETL processing and operational tasks. Performed discovery, requirements gathering, data analysis, technical specification writing, and knowledge transfer delivery. Provided application development and support on a variety of Java and Windows web technologies. Presented training and general sessions at Endeca conferences.

Customer Support at Mercury encompasses phone, web, and e-mail support for our highly technical customers. The group provides diagnosis of complex problems, and bug verification. C and UNIX are the heavy focus here, as well as VME, VxWorks, MULTI, and real-time programming.

I was the team leader for the E-Commerce Support Team at Open Market. In six years at Open Market, I grew from senior, to principal, to team lead roles. In these roles, I resolved numerous technical issues with our enterprise-class e-commerce products. I represented the group and the company at user conferences. I hired personnel and evaluated performance.

Designed, prototyped and programmed a flexible, GUI-based CD-ROM installation and demo program for Xt-based widgets (C, UNIX, Motif). Managed production of CD-ROM contents. Managed “back-end” key distribution.Delivered training and solved technical support problems for customer base of C and X Window System programmers.
