Retired from a (23) year career with the U.S. Secret Service, I successfully fulfilled assigned duties as a security agent having designed and supervised numerous security plans for executive VIPs and facilities, both domestically and internationally. As an investigator, both in the physical and logical world, I have conducted and managed complicated financial and electronic crimes investigations on behalf of private sector and government entities. In my (11) years as computer forensic examiner, I have conducted over one hundred computer forensic exams . I have testified in a court of law as an expert on computer forensic matters.

Chicago Electronic Crimes Taskforce

Trained at FLETC, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, as forensic examiner, I have conducted numerous computer forensic exams over a span of (11) years! I have been trained to use Forensic Tool Kit by AccessData and Encase by Guidance Software, among with numerous other forensic software. I have testified in Federal court as an expert on forensic issues. During my tenure, I helped established and develop the U.S. Secret Service Chicago Electronic Crimes Task Force Forensic Lab under the Patriot Act, Title V and Section 1030 of Title 18 of the U.S. Code. The task force was formed to partner with government and private sector entities, academia and the finance sector, in the protection of internet commerce. The subject matter included child exploitation, identity theft, bank fraud, fraudulent financial instruments, client and network based intrusions and assisting local law enforcement with their logical forensic needs.

I enforced municipal law for the city of Chicago and the state of Illinois. I joined the Police department, because I wanted to make a difference! It was not out of heroics, but out of a sense of taking a stand when many of my contemporaries, lacking a sense of community, opted to leave the city. Law enforcement is all about caring for people when others won't or can't! When given the choice of police districts to work, I chose to work in one of the most gang riddled districts in the city. While working "the streets", I was awarded (16) honorable mentions for my aggressive arrest record involving gangs bangers and street thugs. I arrested and assisted on arrest for burglars, gang bangers, drug dealers, car thieves, armed robbers, sex offenders and domestic crime offenders.
