• Expanded previous duties and took over the Huawei Experience Center and Marketing Lab with E2E solution responsibilities. Accountable for installation and maintenance of $45 million in assets.
• Led the technical team and consolidated functions of 5 different groups into a single team improving efficiencies and increased service with a 30% cost reduction.
• Planned, designed and implemented future technical solutions for major trade shows. Included building temporary data centers on the show floor in less than a week with few resources. One included advanced Coherent 100G.
• Subject matter expert at shows… ex; the first 400G prototype for optical transport, and Petibyte switch prototype using optical burst technology at the 2012 OFC/NFOEC show.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

• Initially focused on Optical Networks responding to RFPs, RFQs & RFIs, quickly expanded to include all Network, Wireless and Core applications products for complete E2E solutions, managing direct reports and virtual.
• Designed and implemented the Huawei Mobile Lab to take to customer sites and shows for live demonstrations. Initially with Optical transport, then expanded with Wireless, Routers, Broadband Access, Microwave, and Core.
• Hired a new team of Sales Engineers to staff the Huawei Mobile Lab and Marketing Labs.
• Promoted by VP within 4 months of hire to manage over $25 million in assets.
• Recognized by SVP for taking initiatives and gained expanded responsibilities with dotted line report into Executive management by bringing new innovative ideas and solutions to the company.

• Created optical transport and data center end user solutions, including Ethernet and SAN transport solutions for major corporations, universities, state agencies, data center connectivity, and state wide networks..
• Influenced various customer departments, building relations with technical staff, and mid-level to C-level management to win over $10M the first year in the Enterprise business.
• Increased optical wins 70% by interpreting customer network needs, designing the architecture, engineering the network, quoting the required material and services, and presenting it in a formal presentation to all.
• Delivered product updates for customer executives and technical staff to inform them of new technology that cut costs and improved reliability.
• Conducted lab trials and complex installations for high profile customers…customers requested me.
• Commended with Outstanding Sales Award for winning a large customer contract.

Dedicated to the Worldcom accout. Focused on selling optical end user solutions with the OC-3/OC-12/OC-48 Platforms, and Metro DWDM platforms, including Optical Ethernet and storage.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

• Introduced next generation equipment to MCI Engineering Acceptance team and gained certification for SONET and DWDM platforms producing $100M+ deployed in MCI’s network.
• Drove new product into MCI/WorldCom network for their largest customer, producing 7x bandwidth at 1/2 the cost with new technology and improved reliability.
• Coordinated lab activities between WorldCom, and Nortel PLM, Engineers & Designers.
• Responded to RFP’s and RFI’s, gave technical presentations, managed special projects that arose, coordinated meetings between WorldCom’s and Nortel’s technical groups, and ordered hardware for the labs that led to.
