I thank my directors and colleagues for their endless support and wish everyone nothing but success for the future, the industry is smaller than we realise so keep good people close! Written in 2014As of May 2013 I took over the role as GM at a beautiful Golf and Country Club that offered 9 log cabins, averaged 20 weddings per year, and the only revenue for the golf department was membership. The venue now offers 20 Log Cabins. We have a spacious and glamorous Lake View suite to host the 50+ weddings, events of all kinds and large conferences. We have completed our first 24 months operating Golf Breaks and have had over 6000 guests visit us for this purpose. We focus on encouraging Corporate Golf and as always introducing new members. We recently won awards for excellence with trip advisor and booking.com and are an ever growing establishment in the UK. We now have an excellent reputation for our restaurant with award winning chefs and a busy bar throughout the weekend that will only prosper in the months to come.The Golf Course is in immaculate condition and the team and I are going to be working on making the local public and all UK golfers aware of this hidden gem.I am extremely confident and optimistic of the future for both myself and Calderfields Golf Club and I encourage everyone to watch us grow and come and see for yourself.
