After starting work as a part time employee during my studies at school, I took a year out before coming to university to get a sense of a full time working environment. I worked as part of the customer service team, helping customers with any problems that they have in store and providing the best solution possible. Always willing, I was trained across every section in the store so I could help the branch in whatever way possible. Often put in charge of leading the team that were on the checkouts, my decision making improved massively as any decision that was made would have consequences on how the operation was running. I undertook a course to become a sponsor, which is essentially a point of contact for all new partners to come if they have any problems and help with their integration and training, emphasising my friendly and approachable nature.
