I have 25 years experience in the utility industry, I started as a trainee mainly on the gas element side of the business. From there, I moved further into the field gaining my service laying, main laying, meter fitting qualifications. To grow my skillset I furthered my knowledge of MU by becoming a qualified water service & main layer. I moved my focus into management starting off as a Supervisor then to Project Manager, gaining the knowledge of how to manage individuals as well as contract costing and the more finer details of a project. Part of my further growth was gaining my CP & AE qualifications on both LP and MP on a number of Networks, I now also mentor individuals on gaining their CP and AE status. To strengthen my water knowledge further I carried out the form of authority for water connections, this has given me more of an understanding and appreciate the finer details of multiple networks.Recently I have been involved in the engineering element and delivery of mupltle EV projects, as the industry grows and changes I feel it only right to grow my knowledge of understanding of this exciting part of the industry.
