 Implementing purchasing strategy based on Corporate Purchasing Management policy, identifying potential supplier for assigned commodity, Molding/Die Casting/Plating/Enclosure/Cable/PCBA/etc.  Annual cost out, negotiate with strategic supplier on deflation rate based on purchasing record and forecast to achieve 3% target.  New Product Introduction, in charge of RFQ for NPI prototype sample building, select qualified supplier via competitive bid, ensure material CTB until mass production.  Interfacing with purchasing, engineering, planning, finance, to make sure products to be delivered with lowest cost, best quality and meet our OTD requirement.  Working with planning/production team to better allocate plant’s capacity to make sure best convertible orders will be prioritized.  Monitoring material continuity, working with procurement team proactively for potential supply issue, searching via open market for constraint parts and negotiate with supplier for PPV.  EOL excess control, keep close touch with project manager to understand the selling market status and provide accurate forecast to supplier to limit excess.  SRG audit, cooperating with SRG audit team/supplier quality engineer to close the findings (red/yellow flag) for potential suppliers and make sure supplier to be successfully loaded into GENSUITE and ARAVO system.

 Managing engineering bills of materials, documents, controlling drawings and QA requirements to meet the need of customers.  Acting as purchasing point for nominated commodities, achieving lowest total cost, balancing optimum quality & scheduled needs.  Issue purchase orders using sound purchasing practices and applicable company and government regulations. Promoting a proactive approach in execution of MRP messages and short circle orders whilst driving down inventory.  Developing supplier relationships, lead request for quote and supplier selection to stimulate competition and gain cost out.  Developing negotiation plans and conducting negotiations, driving supplier quality, delivery and inventory metrics Monitoring and controlling engineering change note including disposition of all non-conformance material, consolidating the supplier base to aggregate volume and gain leverage.  Working with SQE together, initiating necessary actions to address any manufacturing/quality issues at supplier facility by coordinating with the relevant function in sourcing and engineering, etc.

 Internal order management, in charge of all internal orders from the very start of order input till delivery, make forecasting based on inventory information and normal order volume. Regularly holding meetings with vendors and forwarders to ensure smooth order production and delivery. Strong cooperation with SCP to balance order allocation among different regions. Daily logistic issue handling, including invoice, packing list, EDI transition etc. Proficiently use SAP for order validation, issuing, changing and management. Coordinate as an interface between the plant capacity and customer needs. Organize and coordinate with the forwarding companies. Evaluate and audit their sales performance and cost. Follow up the forwarders’ week meeting to achieve effective management.
