Prior to attending the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR), I was an air traffic controller in the United States Air Force (USAF). While on active duty I established exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Adept at working in teams, I earned 13 Tower and Radar facility ratings at nine international airfields. I rose to the rank of Senior Master Sergeant and led teams of over 60 personnel as both Tower Chief Controller and Superintendent of Airfield Operations.Upon my separation from the USAF, I decided to pursue a career in engineering and enrolled in the Systems Engineering program at UALR with an emphasis in electrical engineering. My last two summers I worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern for Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation (AECC). As a member of the Production Engineering team I worked on projects for AECC's 10 power generation stations. These projects included work with AutoCAD Electrical, PLC programming, and life-cycle management.I graduated from UALR in December 2017, summa cum laude, with a 3.94 GPA, and was the President of Tau Beta Beta, a petitioning chapter of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society.I am looking forward to working in a high quality engineering environment where I can add to my experience and academic skills while helping meet organizational goals.
