I am a first-generation graduate with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UNLV. My interests are in aerospace, UAVs, HVAC, and project coordination. I want to utilize what I've learned from my degree and apply it all into the real world and see how I can impact the field of engineering as a whole. I’ve had one internship at the NNSS, my first government position as a casual intern I was able to learn much about nuclear history and how a professional workplace operates. I shadowed maintenance craftsmen in the field as they performed various routine inspections on HVAC and other equipment which I noted and used to help improve their scheduling efficiency. I also went on tours of the site, networked with leaders and current employees, and presented my summer project. During the internship, I mainly utilized Microsoft Office apps to complete my project; I was also taught how to use a job-specific database site to find important information and to input/output necessary data. I’ve also worked a couple of positions in the food industry prior which provides me with an ample amount of customer service and leadership experience.
