Duties: I have a day to day responsibility for ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and environmental procedures, achieving production targets (oee \ ree) and effectively managing and developing a small team to maximise that all goals and efficiency are achieved .while implementing and developing policies and procedures.Carry out monthly Health & Safety toolbox talks, organise daily specific tasks, organise plant maintenance / calibrations. Ensure we have sufficient materials for production and merchanting stocks. Completion of monthly stock takes, ensure that all mobile & static plant is running efficiently & effectively to optimise its daily output .monitor performance of the production shifts through key performance indicators to ensure they are met Control unit costs at the purchasing stage, ensure Health & Safety standards are kept to a consistently high standard for all on site this includes employees, contractors, visitors & customers.A more detailed description follows below.• Responsible for ensuring that all work produced is carried out in a timely and cost effective manner.• To delegate tasks and effectively communicate daily manufacturing targets to the team and ensure they are met.• To identify and implement continuous improvement activities to eliminate wasteful practices and reduce costs.• Responsible for ensuring stock movements are correctly transacted using the Company’s in-house computer system and ensuring each item of stock is correctly and securely stored.• Responsible for providing, when required, statistics and management reports.• Identify capacity issues and take the necessary actions to resolve them.• Responsible for the quality of work and performance of all employees• Responsible for ensuring that appropriate inspection and quality checks are maintained.• Responsible for ensuring that any technical problems arising from day to day activities are resolved in a timely maner

Control unit costs at the purchasing stage, ensure Health & Safety standards are kept to a consistently high standard for all on site this includes employees, contractors, visitors & customers.

Duties: The role covers planning and supervision of all production operations from Face loading, Crushing and Screening to Vehicle loading.Control of the production workforce making sure all position are filled during a normal working day and that targets and production are met by them.Make sure all Health and Safety Rules are adhered too at all times and report any unsafe working practices. Deal with any environmental and customer issues if and when they arise. Work closely with all other key team members.

Duties: Day to day running of S2 Plant, this includes making sure all tonnage targets are met on a daily basis thus producing ample materials to supply to customers and to add to our stock pile. Monitor colour of white dust, when on production duties. Make sure loading shovel is maintained at lunch times.Cover all job roles and inform a member of the management team if any of these jobs cannot be filled. Be able to tackle any problems as and when they arise without supervision.Since that time I had been promoted to the position of Production Supervisor in 2002.
