Shift Supervisor
CurrentThe Operations Shift Supervisor is responsible for the safe and effective leadership of their operational shift. They operate and maintain the gas plant, ensuring environmental, statutory, production and commercial performance targets are met in a substantially self-managed work environment. The role is responsible for management of their designated shift on a daily basis. Key Accountabilities include: • Operate, monitor and maintain the Iona Gas Plant facilities including the remote sites • Prioritise and lead daily and shift-long work activities • Lead minor shutdown planning and work pack development • Maintain shift roster, ensuring costs are minimised whilst maintaining minimum manning• Ensure all planned work tasks are executed on the day scheduled and report deviations.• Conduct audits and reviews of site processes ensuring process discipline is maintained• Coach, mentor and guide Production Technicians focusing on ensuring that direction, accountability and consistency are maintained at all times.• Conduct Professional Development and Performance processes for Production Technicians• Ensure excellent communication between shifts and with other stakeholders. • Build of high performance culture and team through using adaptive and technical leadership.
