(10 % Reduction in head-count at Caterpillar). I just completed this assignment.

Consultant & Project Lead Engineer: I worked with Electromech Tech in Wichita, Kansas on continuous improvement for the manufacturing process of flap actuators in aerospace industry.Led cross-functional team evaluation of flap actuator manufacturing process inefficiency (compression, tension, shut down and low amp errors). Identified outsourced supplier component (wear washer) as root cause. Returned the manufacture of wear washers back in-house, resulting in first time yield efficiency increase from 75 to 100% thereby reducing cost and improving quality.Took over and supervised resolution manufacturing design issue of Power Distribution cables for military vehicle applications for Oshkosh Corporation with union skilled technicians using JDE and CATIA software.
