Provide day to day manufacturing support of all equipment and facilities for an interocular lens manufacturer. Install, program and troubleshoot CNC equipment. Design and build complicated tooling and fixtures for production and processes. Coordinate scheduel and facilitate outside vendors.

Machine and modify prototype and short run tools on both CNC and manual equipment.

Support our medical manufacturing facility. Trouble shoot and repair all types of electro, pneumatic and CNC equipment. Qualify and Validate new additions to our factory.Incorporate my Machine and Design knowledge to improve existing or innovate new manufacturing solutions. Identify, coordinate and request interdepartmental resources. Program and develop new processes when possible.

Managed all aspects of a growing WEDM department, including hiring and managing personnel. Programmed set up and ran 4 Mitsubishi Wire machines as well as an EDM fast hole drilling machine and Bridgeport Series II Mill. Also I did all of our own maintenance and repair of these units. While there I pioneered many of the now accepted methods of fixturing and tooling for the production of Carbide tools and Mold inserts. Aggressively developed a wider customer base especially in the Stamping and Medical industries.

Developed a turnkey WEDM department for the owner. Wrote all programs and managed maintenance for the growing enterprise. Developed a broad customer base and began infiltrating into the Medical manufacturing areas. Also programmed and ran Series II CNC Bridgeport Mill.
