I am head of residential Landlord and Tenant at Bate and Albon, handling all matters relating to the extension of residential leases, freehold enfranchisements, tenants right of first refusal, breach of residential leases and service charge matters.My work regularly involves Tribunal appointed manager applications and applications to the Tribunal or County Court as to lease construction.I also advise on the Right to Manage, the enfranchisement of houses under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967, acting for some of the largest landlords in the country as well as for tenants. I have a particular specialism in cases which are not run of the mill, including dissolved freehold or management companies and missing landlord cases. My background in litigation and enfranchisement work leaves me well placed to handle all aspects of Landlord and Tenant work, from drafting and negotiation, through to the preparation of claims and Tribunal applications. I handle all aspects of cases and on occasion undertake my own advocacy where possible.
