Our FocalPoint product offers a whole range of business processes, from time/expense management through to costing and financial reporting.I am responsible for the complete project cycle from initial project scoping through to system build (Including SQL development), UAT and end user training.Some of my client sites include BAE Systems (Operations), SPICE plc, and The Engine Group.

Aviva is the world's fifth-largest insurance group and the biggest in the UK. They are one of the leading providers of life and pensions products in Europe and have substantial businesses elsewhere around the world.During the time at Aviva, my roles within the company changed over the 4 year period. Starting as a Database Administrator for the Statutory Consolidation system (Comshare FDC) I was responsible for the integrity of data submissions from over 300 business units. Progressing on from here, I was involved in several parts of the Global Finance Transformation Project (GFTP) whos aim was to replace Comshre FDC with the new consolidation system Cartesis Magnitude. The roles I covered in this project, ranged from User Acceptance Testing, DBA parallel running of both systems, Input into design documents and then supporting the final system.
