As an airport technology manager, Mr. Helmer is responsible for all computer systems throughout the Horry County Airports department including Myrtle Beach International, Conway, and Grand Strand Airport. The systems include all airline systems related to the processing of passengers i.e. ticketing, gates, printing, kiosks, MUFIDS, paging, telephones, internet access, and public Wi-Fi. In addition to the airlines, Mr. Helmer also oversees and manages all systems used by the airport to maintain security, Horry County employees, and airport tenants.
