I never planned on becoming a recruiter, but life’s twists and turns often lead us exactly where we need to be. My journey started in retail management with aspirations for a long-term career in Multi-Unit Retail Management. However, I found my true calling in recruitment, where I’ve built a fulfilling career helping businesses grow by connecting them with top talent.At Starbucks during COVID-19, I managed a team of 40 and placed over 150 new hires, boosting monthly sales from $160K to $215K while promoting 12 leaders. My recruitment innovations alleviated hiring challenges nationwide, catching the attention of Starbucks' TA department and igniting my passion for talent acquisition.From there, I transitioned into RPO recruiting at Adecco, honing my skills in sourcing and hiring. Then, at Juno, I partnered with Comcast's Effectv, leading GTM recruiting for media tech and advertising roles. I reduced Time-to-Fill by 50%, directly hiring 65-70 full-time W2 employees in my time using LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday, and Hire EZ.My journey took a pivotal turn when I joined Closers.io, where I specialized in building remote high-ticket sales teams. I helped over 50 businesses scale their remote sales efforts by sourcing and recruiting top talent for founders, CEOs, and sales managers across various industries in the High Ticket sector. I hired over 180 sales professionals with a 14-20 day time-to-fill, using HubSpot CRM for tracking and LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing. I maintained a 9.5/10 NPS score by delivering high-quality candidates and helping clients exceed their sales targets. My efforts also led to a promotion to Sr. Recruiting Account Manager, overseeing high-value accounts that generated over $300K/month.Now, as the Head of Recruitment at ScalingSales.Pro, I leverage my industry expertise to manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for high-ticket sales roles. From building systems and developing SOPs to sourcing top talent, I’m focused on delivering exceptional results while consistently exceeding KPIs and driving innovation in expanding the candidate pipeline.Outside of work, I’m deeply involved in roller derby. I founded and coach Wilmington Junior Roller Derby, a nonprofit kids' league, where I inspire the next generation of skaters. I also coach Cape Fear Roller Derby and proudly serve as the team captain for the Carolina Wrecking Balls, ranked #6 in the world.
