I prefer a working environment where I will be challenged with something that will force me to learn more.I have been working as a software developer and systems administrator at Duke Energy on a special team that is treated much like a startup. I have worked with creating Android, iOS, and web applications for the team as well as maintaining and updating APIs. I am also responsible for administrating and designing our version control and its structure.I have a number of other skills and experience ranging from basic computer hardware debugging and repair to full computer forensics. My diverse background gives me some insight into problems that many others may not have. I tend to find workarounds and solutions that others do not consider and I am able to more thoroughly evaluate a possible solution and its impact on a system. I don't focus on a problem, I focus on the overall objective. This allows me to solve problems in a way that will function with the system without issues. Most people focus on the problem itself, which leaves room for errors like not properly working with other system components, not being modular, or not being a long term solution. Past this, I am a very persistent person. If I have trouble with a problem, I continue attacking it until I find a reliable and sustainable solution. I don't like to leave things undone or questions unanswered.
