My path to where I am today:I started with an interest of mechanical things and as a kid my curiosity led me to disassembling then reassembling toys. This progressed over time into bigger toys by rebuilding and modifying motorcycles & high-performance cars which quickly became my most passionate hobby.So, it was a natural progression that I started my career in product development for automotive performance parts. Although this was fun (especially product testing!) the market for our automotive performance parts in Australia reduced over time so I moved on.During my time working with performance engines, it became apparent that the quality of standard pump fuel in Australia was a limiting factor for an engine’s performance capabilities, this was the point at which my career and passion evolved.To overcome engine performance limitations, we invested resources into alternative fuel solutions. This was my introduction to renewables and for the next several years I worked in the development and production of biofuels.We embraced an opportunity in the industrial sector and developed biodiesel generators to provide a cleaner more environmental option to diesel generators. I really connected with this type of product and found myself exploring alternative solutions to produce energy.During this time, I continued my development and expanding my knowledge in renewable energy systems and was directly involved in pioneering renewable technologies such as 100% Biodiesel Generators and Hybrid Generators.Today I feed my passion for innovation in sustainable energy through Firestone a dedicated renewable energy company.
