Having been on his own since the age of 16, good fortune struck Rick at the age of 20 when he met a remarkable man, the late Jim Rohn. Within six months of meeting Jim, he went from being homeless to a co-founder of a start-up retail business that grew into three major mall stores before selling the business. Starting in 1980, Rick went into business with Jim Rohn and spent the next 5-years promoting Jim Rohn seminars in Minneapolis, MN, where more than 30,000 attended his events. Most recently on January 10th, 2017, Rick founded Canna Cobra LLC. (formally Hemp Geo Institute, LLC) and have established itself as a leading ‘go-to’ organization for world-class cannabis education, resources and the development of CRAFT premium exotic flower grow operations. As of July 2024, Canna Cobra has developed thirty-eight (38) sealed micro-environment indoor grow operations in multiple states, held twelve (12) sold-out educational symposiums attracting attendees from 38 states, and multiple 'in-facility' (Master Grow) training events.
