Bionic, London (bionic.co.uk) Sep. 2017 – Sept. 2020 Frontend developer▪ Developing web pages for internal projects and client facing microsites. ▪ Mainly Frontend coding with some backend, design and email templates. ▪ Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, Javascript, CSS3, Bootstrap, Contentfull cms. When I started at Bionic in 2017 I was in charge of developing all internal website pages and their various external microsite which sometimes had 100s of pages and are shown on various clients websites via reverse proxies. This includes websites like Money Super Market, Confused, Uswitch for Business, UKPower and many more. My job involved leasing with the marketing and the product teams to come up with new exciting ideas, creating wireframes and designs together with the rest of the design team and then creating the pages on the frontend in Ruby on Rails, css, Jquery, Bootstrap and the Contentful headless CMS. Then late 2019 we introduced Vue.js so the main website and all our microsites slowly moved over from Ruby on rails to Vue.js. My Job also included sometimes helping out the marketing team with email templates and AB testing via Google Optimize. We used an agile approach using Jira and 3 amigo session to manage the work flow via GitHub with testing using RSpec TTD and a medicated testing team.

At Chemist Direct is was the lead frontend developer. My main role their was to develop and up keep responsive templates for the site using mainly css/3, html/5 and Jquery. The site was mainly built using an agile approach and is built on a Yii Framework using Magento for its content and Twitter Bootstrap and Twig template engine for its front end. We had daily daily stand ups with other team member to discus the project and would use Github and Jira on a daily basis.

They wanted a web site built from scratch using Wordpress. The build didn’t need to be responsive but it did require additional languages and an external news feed integration from pressPage.
