One that values proactive over reactive, through the creation and integration of holistically analytics, to drive care coordination and patient engagement to exceed the interests of payers, providers, hospitals, employers and other stakeholders.Moving from volume to value, my ability to link and measure test results with patient outcomes and economics, pioneered a shift demonstrating labs are viewed as partners and not a commodity businesses.Results DrivenIn my last two roles, I created a lasting impact. At TriCore, I created an entirely new and sustainable business line, generating over $10 million for the company while positioning it as a recognized leader in the shift to a values-based care model with 120% year-over-year revenue growth with a 27% profit margin. While at VisionQuest, I established the company as one of the first to provide teleretinal screenings and diversified their funding by writing my own SBIR grant submission on a novel concussion diagnosis method which was awarded. I strive to share the spotlight with others, helping my team members expand their skills and networks, to create an environment that is highly collaborative and trusting, resulting in zero employee turnover.Having close to two decades of experience in healthcare, I hold two copyrights, two trademarks and one patent pending. I’m often asked to speak at industry events and am the author of several published articles in key trade journals. I serve on numerous boards in a leadership role and am the Chairman and President of the New Mexico Biotechnology and Bioscience Organization, a trade organization with a mission to catalyze New Mexico’s biotech industry. I’m the Vice Chairman and President of the board for Lovelace Westside Hospital, a division of Ardent, and an advisory board member for Syncronys and the Central New Mexico Biotechnology Community.
