The Administrator must:• Coordinate and lead quarterly conference calls.• Determine the group’s direction, objectives, goals and succession plan.• Supply an Administrator Message to the group Member Portal at least three times per year.• Act as the main point of contact for the Practice Specialty (members and non-members).• Respond to willing volunteers in a timely manner.• Fill all advisory committee positions at the beginning of each term (no later than June 30th).• Act as interim chair for any vacant positions.• Create subcommittees as needed.• Disband subcommittees when no longer needed.• Work with the other advisory committee members to coordinate/delegate activities • Attend two in-person council meetings per year.• Use LinkedIn to communicate with members or send draft message to Society for distribution.

The Assistant Administrator/Vice Chair is responsible to: • Lead quarterly to monthly conference calls in the Administrator’s/Chair’s absence.• Act as the secondary point of contact for the Practice Specialty/Branch/Common Interest Group.• Attend council meetings when the Administrator is unable to attend.• Step in as Administrator/Chair if the Administrator/Chair has to step down for any reason.

Worked with the 13 Chapters in Region II on Student Affairs; helping to grow the student membership within Region II ASSE. Coordinated a full accounting of Region II ASSE Foundation Scholarships and worked with the Chapters/Sections to fully fund any scholarships that are under-funded.

The Publications Coordinator has the following duties:• Solicit members and non-members to write articles for the triannual newsletter. • Read articles to ensure they are appropriate for a professional publication.• Seek out reprints to use in the newsletter, get reprint permission and include the proper crediting line.• Submit articles, images, author biographies, copyright agreements and Administrator/Chair message on or before the predetermined deadline.

Reappointed to a second term by Governor Hickenlooper and confirmed by the Senate. Appointed as the Board's Chairman in March 2014.
