Current* Global compliance assurance of imports (Value: $7.3 MM-year | 14 countries | Duties: $450 K-year), exports (Value: $19.3 MM-year | 22 countries), and oversight of international logistics activities (+450 ops-year). Main trading countries: CN, CA, IN, CL, MX, GT, NI, and DO.* Review import/export documents to ensure compliance with U.S. trade regulations.* Classification of equipment's HTS, Schedule B, and ECCN.* Ensure customs broker compliance regarding Sagent U.S. customs filings. * Creation & approval process of import proforma invoices and duties (+170 ops-year).* Provide advice on the interpretation and application of U.S. trade regulations (FTR, EAR, CUSTOMS).* Provide consultancy on import/export logistics and compliance issues.* Execute export controls function, document creation, guidance, direction, and restricted party screening.* Maintain the company ERP (Microsoft AX) product Import/Export HTS classification and ECCN codes.* Provide support to an external counselor regarding import issues and U.S. CBP notices and audits.* Provide internal training on import/export compliance policies and procedures.* Design and implement Excel tools and templates to ensure import/export document quality and compliance.* Create SOPs for import/export operation compliance.* Conducting internal audits for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.* Manage the implementation of the Square 9 document management platform.* Suggest and implement Temporary Importation under Bond (TIB). The TIB makes feasible and facilitates repair projects from overseas customers.* U.S. CBP ACE secure data portal administrator and the primary point of contact.* Keep communication channels with Accounting, Logistics, and Distribution Center teams to ensure international trade operations compliance.
