CEC lives the ethos "Do Something Real" by graduating high school students with an Associate's degree, industry certification, college certificate, 60 college credits, or a combination thereof. With 15+ Career Technical Education pathways, concurrent enrollment, and strong academics, CEC prepares students for career and college success.

We position youth who are proximate to injustice as leaders for social change – cultivating learning conditions that strengthen their community, critical consciousness, and communication skills.We transform classrooms into communities where youth imagine and advocate for a more just world. This school year, nearly 35 teachers across 15 states are participating in our fellowship, collectively reaching 700+ youth. Vocal Justice also hosted its first annual Youth Leadership Summit in Spring 2023.

Moonshot envisions a learner-centered education system, led by individuals who share and empathize with the experience of the students and communities they aim to serve, where all children become learners who persist through life and meaningfully contribute to their communities.Moonshot surfaces and supports a diverse pipeline of leaders to design and launch the learning environments of tomorrow.

I collaborate with individuals and organizations to expand their reach and impact. Education services include student voice, leadership, and governance development, social justice education, DEI, culturally responsive teaching/ curriculum, and more. Branding and marketing services include brand identity design, brand strategy, web design, marketing and communications collateral, and more.

I designed and taught a new Social Justice program at KIPP NE Denver Leadership Academy that prepares HS students to be leaders and agents of social change. More specific responsibilities include: -Design curriculum for grades 9-12 that includes explicit and nuanced accounts of injustice and an emphasis on developing critical, solutions-oriented mindsets and skills. -Manage an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom. -Integrate project-based and experiential learning that prepares students for college and career.-Design and teach Ethnic and Gender Studies, Social Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and AP Research courses.

Lead and coach a team of teachers to expand KNDLA's Social Justice program to include distinct, vertically aligned courses for each HS grade level and AP Capstone classes.

The Student Board of Education is a district civic engagement youth leadership program that equips students with the skills to design and advocate for sustainable youth-led policy solutions to social justice issues impacting their school communities.I supported the creation and expansion of SBOE at KIPP NE Denver Leadership Academy by:-Coaching students to establish an initial 10+ student SBOE club with a student-developed leadership and governance structure in year 1, where accomplishments include stakeholder engagement and research to put together a successful proposal to change the KNDLA uniform to a more liberal dress code.-Coaching students to participate in Denver Public Schools' Challenge 5280, where teams from DPS high schools develop and present a year-long project aimed at establishing policies to address equity issues within their schools: projects have included a Student Accountability Board aimed to create restorative and community-based consequences in school and "Brave Space," a student-led LGBTQ allyship training.-Coach students on management and leadership skill development, people leadership, project management, budgeting, communications, operations, and organization scaling for what has grown to be a 35+ person student organization.-Advise students on organizational scaling: incorporating a school-wide representative structure, adding executive leadership support positions, creating organizational functions, and building structures and skills to manage cross-functionality.-Maintain a youth-adult partnership philosophy, where students authentically run and take on initiatives for SBOE with guidance from their coach, rather than an adult-led space.

Regis University Student Government Association’s mission is to listen to students, advocate on their behalf, and make the student experience memorable. RUSGA aims to provide programming and advocacy for students with the goal of improving the Regis experience for every member of our community.My responsibilities included:-Ensuring operational accountability to the RUSGA constitution.-Leading an 8 person executive team to implement policy and programming in the areas of student representation, clubs and organizations, student involvement, annual traditions, student fun, and social justice and diversity.-Collaboration with university administration. -Representing the student body to the Board of Trustees. -Managing a six figure budget.-Strategic planning and management for a 60+ person organization who represents, advocates, and programs for over 2,000 undergraduates.

Regis University provides an excellent mission-based education dedicated to social justice and the common good. However, institutions of higher education across the country are experiencing challenges concerning diversity and the marginalization of people based on their gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, or race. Regis is not exempt from this; rather, true to its mission, it is in need of a robust student organization that serves as a platform for those most underserved and underrepresented to be heard. My responsibilities included: - Planning for the creation of the Council, membership, and drafting organization by-laws. - Maintaining a critical but collaborative relationship with University Administration.- Advocating for students who are underprivileged, underserved, and underrepresented across university departments and initiatives. - Working with community leaders to generate policy and outcomes conducive to inclusive excellence for those most marginalized in a traditional private higher-ed demographic.- Participating as a member of Regis’ Vice Provost of Diversity and Inclusion position search committee.

DSST Public Schools transform urban public education by eliminating educational inequity and preparing all students for success in college and the 21st century. My responsibilities included: -Classroom and development support for Entrepreneurial Studies Program (6th-12th grade).-Network-wide, long-term logistical planning for experiential learning initiatives. -Supporting the development/execution of project-based learning initiatives. -Serving as a general resource for students in their personal, academic, and professional progression.

Denver Public Schools CareerConnect offers district students relevant courses while connecting them with partner companies and higher education institutions for hands-on workplace experiences and mentoring. The program equips graduates with high-demand skills and leads to opportunities for continued education and careers in Colorado’s highest-growth, highest-opportunity industries.I helped the program serve students by working on:- Program/ student engagement planning - Partner recruitment - Data management - Strategic outreach- Monitoring student performance and satisfaction

-Managed a $28,000 budget. -Planned and executed a business conference trip for 17 students to Tampa, Florida. -Managed an executive team of 5 positions. -Pitched for and was granted a monetary award from Regis’ Student Senate for a business conference trip.

Driving Active Latino Electorate (DALE) engages Latinos in issue advocacy and non-partisan electoral politics through education, local engagement opportunities and traditional field tactics. - Directly managed and directed a team of employees to successfully text message 35,000 people election details in targeted low propensity areas within two weeks. - Assisted in management of door-to-door election outreach programs targeting over 100,000 people. - Managed outside communication efforts, including community outreach and communication with the press. - Created marketing and brand materials.

The campaign to re-elect Colorado Senator Michael Bennet.- Conducted various research projects. - Effective communication and relationship development with staff and key community members.- Managed and created extensive, essential data sets.
