As the Swim Coordinator at Special Sports, I am responsible for setting up and coordinating children's swim lessons and all other swimming activities in our facility. My duties include developing lesson methods, coordinating instructors, serving as a point of contact for parents, and ensuring a safe and effective learning environment. With a passion for swim education, I strive to provide a positive swimming experience for all participants.

Investigating the implementation and scale up mechanisms of injury prevention programs after their initial effectiveness trial at the Department of Public and Occupational Health. We are trying to find out what happened to interventions after their initial effectiveniss trial; how were they used in practise and reach a greater audience.

The goal of this project is to let SCI patients ride a bike again with the use of Functional Electrostimulation (FES). As a member of team Propulsion our goal is to optimize both the FES and Berkelbike parameters in order to succesfully participate in the Cybathlon 2020 in Zurich. Teaching in varied gym classes with a lot of material and the most challenging games from primary and secondary education, designed for adults.

Guiding pupils aged 12 to 18 in their motor, cognitive and socio-emotional development. Responsible for designing, planning and executing educational material in varied areas with the aim of stimulating and inspiring new knowledge and skills.

Teaching individuals- and groups, with tailor-made training plans for people with various disorders (including COPD, heart disorders, partial paralyzing and back and neck complaints) with as main objectives:- regain the pleasure in moving- to initiate recovery where possible- to become physically more fit- to increase confidence and independence in personal abilities

Responsible for designing and executing educational material for the domain athletics and soccer. Developing new knowledge and skills based on the pupil's own specific interest for both the short, and the long-term development by paying attention to the so-called "multiple competence” of the sport knowledge and skills.

Personal coaching and designing new ways of sport specific strength training for the hockey athletes of the Dutch selection under 17. These individual training sessions were carefully planned alongside the ice courses and were based on the individual analysis of the wrist- and slapshot. The goal was to make the best possible transfer from training results in the gym to ice hockey. The athletes were closely monitored each week and these results were converted into the course of the training plan.
