Managed the financial operations of the All-Volunteer Fire Department which included writing/receiving grant funding and private donations.Researched and produced a regional compensation analysis used to support administrative decisions regarding wages for closed position employees in union negotiations.Grant Writer; Researched, wrote and coordinated with SEMO/FEMA to fund a comprehensive Hazard Mitigation Plan in the amount of $73,313.00. This included funds to repair the Saw Mill River Pump Station and funds to repair damages from severe storms declared national emergency's via the Executive branch.

Assist the Department of Economic Development (250k city population) to develop strategies needed to reach the goals outlined within Phase II & III of the Mayor’s overall strategy for economic revitalization. Performed research into Trolley systems, park design, more efficient and luminescent street lighting systems, and implemented the layout of other sidewalk improvements that include new trash receptacles and sidewalk benches. Created databases using MS Access to coordinate the type of sidewalk improvement with the section of the city and the streets within the specified section. Also maintained a database that reflected changes to the variance of housing prices (prevailing market value) as a function of the average weekly salary of the core constituency; as well maintaining a database of the outstanding taxes owed on commercial properties throughout the city.
