Born in Australia and moved to the US for high school and beyond to pursue a love of technology.I’ve created the vision and execution for many of my own startups. In 2008, before the advent of live streaming platforms, I built a live sports streaming platform without using any off-the-shelf external web services. From there, I ventured into the startup world of Silicon Valley and joined my first incubator when I was 18. In the "Teens in Tech" incubator, I launched a 'SO-LO-MO' app called Moments. I also created a financial budgeting system using fintech gateways such as Yodlee and OFX standards.I've started a few companies leading up to my current venture, Poplar Homes, which I co-founded in 2014. I lead technology dev and the engineering team at Poplar. We're a Silicon Valley based proptech company in residential real estate and property management.Through these ventures and my time with Poplar Homes, I've learned many methods of product development and operations. My technical expertise spans payments, mobile, and web platforms. I’m able to understand and execute highly technical operational implementations quickly and with high accuracy while considering all the possible points of failure.Poplar Homes is an exciting opportunity to implement all that I've learned in the startup space to build an entirely new rental housing platform and logistics technology for property management services. We now manage over $1B in rental properties across 256 cities in the US. We've raised over $65M in financing from backers such as Jeff Dean, Chief of AI at Google, Renren, and XG Ventures.
