2018- PRESENTImmediately prior to, and during the pandemic, I devoted my time to the care of three elderly family members living in NYC who relied on me for all their needs. I relocated my mother and her companion to where I lived in 2020 and cared for both until they died (recently). I acted/am acting as the Executor of all three estates. I also devoted my time to staying very physically active and pursuing various hobbies including starting to learn two languages and a musical instrument.

• Instituted support structures for the Office of the President for SNC-Lavalin, a full service engineering and construction provider with more than 35,000 employees operating in over fifty countries.• Groomed and guided a staff of 21 Senior Vice-Presidents and General Managers which included 3,400 people across global locations including Canada, the U.S., India, the UK, Colombia, Venezuela, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.• Oversaw annual turnover of $840 million dollars in operations/project execution and P&L.• Reversed operating loss in my division from ($11 million) in 2012 to $46 million in 2013 by applying business acumen and discipline to LS projects, and reducing expenses by 3% through efficiency measures. • Increased cash flow by 8%. • Bolstered business through improved customer relations including award of strategic projects in Canada and Iraq.• Pinpointed and enacted support of strategic initiatives to penetrate/develop targeted global market sectors; spearheaded the company’s successful efforts to build a presence in Iraq which resulted in a major project award of a crude oil transportation pipeline.• Interfaced and engaged with other business units (mining, O&M, environmental, power) to promote cross-functional synergy and to saturate new markets.• Executive Sponsor on critical EPC projects with key customers.

• Accountable for P&L and global project execution for the ethylene business unit, a proprietary Shaw technology with annual turnover of $600 million, approximately 75% of the business unit’s revenue. • Advanced net income from $97 million in 2008 to $149 million in 2009 for the group, with margins increasing from 7.5% to 25%, among the best in the global EPC business in a severe economic recession.• Established and strengthened global joint venture with Korean company to pursue EPC projects.• Improved P&L and global project execution for the petrochemicals business unit by increasing turnover 20% to $200 million. • Furthered profitability of high risk projects through stimulation of security payments and elimination of delinquent payments. • Expanded operating margins by 4% and annual cash flows by 7%.• Executive Sponsor for $1 billion lump sum EPC project in Singapore.

• Promoted learning outcomes in teaching methodology of Advanced Placement Calculus AB/BC, equivalent to the first year of college calculus.

• Head Project Director on $8 billion oil sands project in Alberta, Canada from 1999 to 2003, optimized project organization and direction for all operating partners (KBR, Fluor, SNC-Lavalin, Syncrude) for the basic engineering, detailed design, procurement, construction, and start-up.• Coordinated and supervised project logistics on $110 million tobacco processing facility in Germany which was completed on schedule and 8% under budget, $700 million LNG expansion in Algeria which was completed on schedule, and $400 million grassroots chemical facility in Mexico, the last two as “turnaround” efforts.• Transformed and unified worldwide operations of the 400 person strong Construction Department.

• Directed $80 million EPC refinery expansion in Durban, South Africa delivered 2% under budget and on time with no claims.• Engineering management, and later, Home Office Project Manager, for a lump sum $600 million EPC chemical plant expansion in Singapore. • Launched construction on two +$400 million grassroots chemical plants.• Formalized project engineering and construction management on Lower 48 module assembly work and sealift operations for Prudhoe Bay, AK.
