With no onsite supervisor, created and implemented quality and operational procedures (supporting $13.3 million annual sales) to build custom conveyor systems sold to global beverage and pharmaceutical companies. Interfaced with suppliers to ensure quality raw materials and timely deliveries. Made material recommendations and equipment enhancements to achieve production quality and reduce costs.

Managed up to 24 employees (engineering, maintenance, tooling and quality) for a manufacturer of sport fishing boats with $10M annual sales. Directed utilization of Rotocast technology to mold Polyethylene plastics into completed boats. Led transformation from mass production to Lean Production. Planned and implemented Lean Line Design, Material Handling, Kaizen, Kanbans, 5S, Continuous Flow, and Problem Solving programs.

Integral team member in the successfully introduction of a new product, and new manufacturing facility, within the limitations of an aggressive project plan.

Developed methods, tooling and techniques to continuously reduce (by 40%) the time and effort involved in setting-up and changeovers. Assisted the successful implementation of ISO9001 requirements in the fabrication shop
