Some aspects of this enablement are longer term, bringing vision and direction to organizations and product roadmaps, while others are intensely tactical, providing the clear alignment between end user, partner, sales, product management and development to deliver on corporate value propositions. While the broadest focus in Digital, Product, Field and Channel Marketing today is on promotion of the solution itself ("inside-out"), the parallel challenge of aligning audience interests with product management (outside-in) is equally challenging, and arguably far more important.Having led three organizations through complete overhauls of their marketing programs, this critical linking of the strategic with the tactical continues to be a strength of mine.
