I’m working as a consultant on the Global Climate Fund (GCF) - National Adaptation Plan (NAP) Project under UNDP, where I collaborate closely with the UNDP team and other consultants. My role involves regular coordination with the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas and facilitating the update of the Climate Resilience Development’s National Action Plan.My key responsibilities include:1. Action Plan UpdateI lead the process of updating the Climate Resilience Development’s Action Plan. This involves conducting a situational analysis, facilitating stakeholder consultations, compiling feedback, and drafting a timeline and key activities for the update.2. Workshop FacilitationI provide technical input for inception and consultative workshops involving four prioritised sectors. This includes developing workshop materials, mapping key participants, and proposing the workshop agenda.3. Synthesis ReportsPost-workshops, I formulate synthesis reports to analyse stakeholder feedback, which forms the basis for the Action Plan formulation.4. Roadmap DevelopmentI develop a roadmap for the Action Plan based on stakeholders’ input. As a dedicated professional at the Low Carbon Development Indonesia (LCDI) Secretariat of Bappenas, I have played a pivotal role in advancing climate resilience development policies. My key responsibilities include:1. Supported the planning and execution of climate resilience actions within the health sector at both national and local levels by developing strategies that integrate climate resilience into the broader framework of climate resilience development policies.2. Assisted the LCDI Secretariat in finalizing climate resilience policies and strategies by contributing to funding mechanisms, defining approaches, and conducting scientific studies for evidence-based decision-making in CRD priority sectors.3. Conducted thorough monitoring and evaluation of climate resilience initiatives using data-driven approaches to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and ensure alignment with national climate resilience targets.4. Created detailed and visually engaging presentation materials for various stakeholders, including government officials, international partners, and public audiences, covering critical topics related to health and environmental issues to ensure clarity and impact.5. Engaged with a wide range of stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and international partners, to foster collaboration and ensure the successful implementation of climate resilience actions.6. Supported the conduct of scientific studies to provide a robust evidence base for climate resilience actions by collaborating with researchers and experts to gather and analyze data, ensuring that policies and strategies were grounded in the latest scientific knowledge.7. Served as a liaison between the Directorate of Environment at Bappenas and stakeholders (ministries/agencies, subnational governments, development partners, etc.) to implement climate resilience actions in Indonesia.
