I was in charge of the University's finances, including payables and receivables. I worked to find ways to save cash where possible, and I worked to streamline operations. I did all of the daily bookkeeping and then reported to the President and Board of Directors. I supported our annual audit as well as other miscellaneous audits.

I was in charge of all the accounting functions for this company, including AP, AR, Inventory, Bank Reconciliations and payroll. While there, I successfully implemented a new billing policy to ensure that all billable items were properly billed to the customer. I created a more detailed weekly profit and loss statement to ensure it was accurate.

Prepare individual and corporate tax returns during tax season.

Working for one of Accountemps clients, I prepared and emailed out invoices to customers. I also processed rebates and credits as required. I frequently had to interact with customer service regarding customers balances and to ensure credits were being properly credited.
