I worked as a consultant intern in the Operations Transformation Team where I assisted on a project with one of the biggest insurance companies in South Africa. I got to learn the ins and outs of a project, from designing the proposal to sitting in on interviews to delivering the final product. I learnt and developed numerous new skills which include deck building, modelling a digital maturity assessment and problem solving to assist the client. Not only was I able to enhance my PowerPoint and Excel skills but I also learnt a new, more powerful tool called Power BI which I used to build dashboards.
