Le Loop is a charity-based challenge, which gives cyclists of all abilities and experience the opportunity to fulfil their ambitions and ride the Tour de France route one week ahead of the professionals. The event is fully supported, from mechanics to medics and physios, luggage transfers, accommodation and all meals including 4 fantastic stage feed stops. All you do ... is ride! Participants raise money (with a minimum fundraising commitment) for the William Wates Memorial Trust (www.wwmt.org) which gives grants to charities that engage disadvantaged young people through sport, arts and education. To date Le Loop has helped the Trust support charities to the tune of £3.5m and this year’s event hopes to add a further £400,000 to the overall total.
