Highly motivated and driven to succeed, I am Senior Forensic Analyst with over 7 years’ experience and a proven ability in working effectively within highly pressurised laboratory environments. I analyse large volumes of samples in order to effect accurate and verifiable data that is used as evidence for various Police forces across the UK. Highly-skilled with advanced practical knowledge of next generation Multiplex, SGM Plus and identifier profiles, I deliver data that is accurate, detailed and robust enough to maximise the chances of securing convictions that are beyond reasonable doubt. However, my practical laboratory experience is only a part of the story. I also have a BSc (Hons.) in Forensic Biology, which has given me the solid academic foundation with which to pursue my passion of contributing to the study of science. This culminated in my final year project, which was a study into the “Design, Construction and Expression of a Multimeric assembled recombinant malaria transmission blocking antibody 4B7” (graded at 84%). With a background in both laboratory and client-side, face-to-face interaction I strive on a daily basis to make a deeper contribution to Science and am passionate about how science can improve people’s lives on a daily basis.
