    I started my career at Vacasa as an Operations Specialist, working with the guest services team and operations team. It was a position with a loose job description and as a result I was able to dip my toes in several parts of the company. Coming from a heavy customer service background, I found myself helping escalated guests and home owners find creative solutions to the issues they were having. Six months after starting with the company I was moved to a Guest Services Team Lead role and lead a team of representatives and senior specialist. I was an integral part of developing many of the guest services practices we use today , including training exercises that area used to on-board new employees. During my time as a team lead I was placed in charge of Vacasa's internal and external review process. I was charged with developing systems to handle and enormous volume of customer reviews and tasked with generating constructive responses to them. This included both internal proprietary reviews as well as reviews on external platforms like the BBB, YELP and popular social media sites. After 4 months as a Guest Services Team Lead, I transitioned to a Reviews Specialist role. In this role I have been responsible for the review related duties listed above, as well as process improvement. I am currently working on ways to improve review conversion rates and improve the public image as well as SEO optimization. After a year of developing the process used to effectively handle incoming reviews, I stepped away from my role as Vacasa's Review Specialist and resumed my role as a Guest Services Team Lead. As a Team Lead, I am interviewing and hiring the next wave of Vacasa Guest Services Representatives, and training them to the standard of excellence that Vacasa guests have come to expect.
