Research on strategies to decrease the environmental impact of hinterland transport using conventional vehicles as well as teaching of master courses.

Research on real-time operational planning of freight and vehicle routes in distributed transport networks using model predictive control. Assisted with lecturing and supervision for a part of a course on research and design methods. Supervised two groups of bachelor project students and seven master students doing different types of projects on various topics related to the main research direction. Followed courses on logistics modelling, sustainable operations management, optimization under uncertainty and machine learning (inc. neural networks). Research on control and constraint satisfaction for multi-agent systems with offset in distributed model predictive control and structured invariant sets. Main author of the paper "Safe Learning for Distributed Systems with Bounded Uncertainties" which is submitted to International Federation of Automatic Control's world congress in 2017. Prepare results from master thesis for publication. Topic: Particle Swarm Optimization, Convergence. Was accepted and presented by me at European Control Conference 2016 with the title "On the premature convergence of particle swarm optimization". Co-authors: Jerome Jouffroy and Benny Lassen. Conduct exercise sessions for a bachelor course in Control.Prepare and conduct exercise sessions for a master course focused on solving PDE's numerically.

Jan: Full time employed to develop a suggestion for a new NORSOK-compliant company specific documentation template, including installation manual, user guide and quality documentation.Feb-Jun: Part time employed to help with various projects while writing bachelor thesis.July: Full time employed to modify the mechanical design of a winch to comply with customer specifications. My part of the project ended with working drawings.

Assist in the design and manufacturing-management of a cable tensioner in accordance with NORSOK. Drawings in SolidEdge. Involved in several smaller project with responsibilities in design, FEM, working drawings, purchasing of mechanical components and steel parts, compliance with quality and deadlines.
