Good communication is always a success factor and I have a proven track record of successful leadership in difficult environments. My verifiable successes in establishing commercial structures in various regions of the world in the pharmaceuticals / biotechnology (infectious diseases) sector are a result of clear communication and leadership, combined with successful teamwork. As a result, sales targets were almost always achieved and often significantly exceeded. The many years of close cooperation with NGOs (UNICEF, WHO, PAHO...) on polio eradication and other topics have also broadened my horizons in this area. Thanks to the increasing experience in various regions of the world, my ability to solve problems has grown, as has my intercultural competence, turnover and responsibility. Activities have included strategy development, setting up sales structures (internally or via distributors), product registrations, marketing in the region, long and short term demand planning, recruitment, etc.... with full P&L responsibility. My strengths lie in my target-oriented approach to unclear situations, pragmatism in implementation, going to the limits, but clearly within the framework of the legal requirements, always with the company's interests in mind. I am adept at negotiating complex high-value contracts, securing corporate partnerships and maintaining long-term professional relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.I later expanded my scope significantly by managing a post-merger integration and most recently three years in the new field of mRNA technology on various projects (technology transfer, CMOs, fill & finish, etc...). As managing director of my own executive search company and as CEO of a medical cannabis start-up, I was able to expand my experience in building organizations.Key competencies:- Communication, team building & leadership- Goal and result-oriented- P&L management- Business development - Sales & profit growth- Regional and local marketing- Stakeholder engagement - Building partnerships at company level- Contract negotiation - Strategic planning and execution - Problem-solving skills and cost control- Continuous process improvement- Program and project management (Prince 2® Practitioner) & consultingIt is always important to me to find ways off the beaten track in order to stand out from the competition.
