Rienk is the consummate "jack of all trades, master of some." He has a voracious appetite for learning and experimenting, and considers the phrase "you can't do that" to be his Siren song. His areas of interest cover the spectrum of many industries and fields, and he is constantly pursuing a 'better mouse trap' in most of them.Rienk started his first business in highschool while working in the mission fields of the Arizona Indian reservations. Since then he has had numerous business endeavors with varying levels of success. There have been several spectacular failures, yet the successes have been enough to allow him to pursue most of his ideas, concepts and dreams.Though he still maintains a day-to-day involvement in business, his passion is in being a resource for front line missionaries, evangelists, teachers and Kingdom minded business people.He may not be as smart as the people he is connected with, but he has a knack for thinking outside the box, for integrating concepts or products from varying fields to develop solutions that are both amazingly novel and incredibly simple. One of Rienk's definitions of success is when others' responses change from "you can't do it that way" to "anyone could have thought of that!"From designing and building his own equipment and machines to being an artist; from editing books for friends to designing and prototyping various aircraft; from acting and writing poetry to obtaining telecom patents; from developing low cost water filters and solar powered tractors to producing 3D animation software and movies, Rienk's interests and endeavors have a common thread... using his talents to support others who are committed to helping the most people, and bringing the most glory to God.
