I love joining the dots. As a child, I could spend hours analysing and drawing roadmaps. Later on, I completed studies in History and Urban Planning, two subjects that rely on connecting ideas and information.Collaborating across sectors and across practices has been a common thread in my recent projects. These have included work on the interplay between urban planning and mobility, healthcare, sports and culture.I authored an award-winning Master's Thesis, setting out the lines for a better, more 'complete' public space on the Brussels' inner ring boulevards. Building on this, I brought together several civil society and academic organisations, establishing the Welkom op de Kleine Ring collective.I'm eager to further deepen my knowledge and skills in the mentioned fields, while still maintaining the integrative approach. I'm looking for a work context that brings together strategic and operational levels. I attach high importance to factual knowledge and strive to stay up-to-date on the latest insights and trends.Areas of focus: strategies for and design of public space and urban transport, innovation in mobility and parking policies, integration of insights on health and physical activity in urban development, stakeholder engagement methods.
