• Manage and maintain relationships with key export accounts under Toronto branch office.• Planning, arranging and coordinating special/project cargo for new and existing clients both domestically and overseas • Maintaining relationships with overseas agents and exploring business leads.• Handled export pricing and procurement for new and existing export accounts • Assisting existing customers further expand their business by providing information, contacts, customized D2D solutions that fit financial / operational requirements to secure said business.• Making sales calls and visits (existing and prospective accounts).• Collaborate with manager to ensure alignment with branch strategies in operating procedures, roles and task distribution.• Train, evaluate, monitor and support activities of operations team.• Monitor all aspects of ongoing shipments across all transport modes and troubleshoot where necessary.• Develop and maintaining preferred carrier relationships.• Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained.

• Manage and maintain relationships with key export accounts under Toronto branch office.• Planning and SOP creation for new lanes for existing/new accounts• Responsible for cultivating, securing and maintaining new business• Procure, update and maintain rates from vendors for ongoing business.• Uploading buying / selling rates on ERP system.• Coordinating between clients, vendors and back office for effective management of each individual shipment.• Troubleshooting and mitigating problematic shipments.• Assisting the Accounts Receivable Department with tracking payments from customer base.• Soliciting CMA CGM Group's services which include Ocean, Air, Road Export / Import and Cargo Insurance and Customs Brokerage.

• Analyze delivery methods and schedules to minimize delivery costs and maximize customer satisfaction.• Coordinate carrier activities to meet service levels at a minimum cost.• Source carriers and negotiate rates• Track and trace all shipments and load status• Proactively identify problems and swiftly implement the appropriate solution• Confirm rates with carriers• Responsible for cost containment of shipment• Evaluate shipments, consolidate loads, select most cost effective method of delivery• Lane analysis required on order to select most appropriate mode• Perform other duties as requested or assigned• Manage shipper and carrier relationships

• Selling feeder services to Main-Line operators (MLO) and securing their cargo (inter-modal containers)• Arranging transportation of cargo under contract from point A to point B. Usually the contract would be signed between principals and as agents, we would be executing and securing cargo as per contract.• Handling day-to-day operations of feeder ships calling in at ports. Arranging their berthing, cargo operations and sailing of vessel upon completion of loading.• Keeping all MLOs informed on the whereabouts of their cargo, time loaded, time taken to transit and time of arrival at destination.
