I provide dedicated program support across a range of internal and external projects and engagements, requiring high-level commitment and engagement. My responsibilities include:● Provide high-level project, operational and logistics support for projects and workstreams● Assist in the preparation of events, concept notes, briefing materials, invitees’ lists, thank you notes, and other supporting materials● Represent Globesight at high-level meetings and convenings● Track news and developments relevant to global development● Develop and expand research and information databases● Prepare updates and reports as required on sectoral trends● Research a specialized topic in the social sector● Other tasks as required

My position is a UNV National Specialist category and my responsibilities include -• Assist National Programme Coordinator (Human Trafficking & Migrant Smuggling) and the team in effective liaison and communications, inter alia ensuring flow of information to internal and external stakeholders through coordination, preparation and circulation of regular updates, newsletters, reports, web-stories and other written outputs to ensure visibility of the Programme, in line with any donor visibility requirements;• Contribute to the preparation of various written outputs, e.g. draft background papers, briefing notes, speeches, position papers, analytical notes, sections of reports and studies, inputs to publications, etc., relating to maritime crime issues, in collaboration with the substantive team;• Support the conduct of research and collation of information on trafficking in persons and the smuggling of migrants• Contribute with substantive support for policy coordination and evaluation functions, including the review and analysis of emerging issues and trends, participation in evaluations or research activities and studies.• Provide logistical, administrative and substantive support to the National Programme Officer (Human Trafficking & Migrant Smuggling) and the team with regard to consultative and other meetings, workshops, conferences, training sessions, missions etc., including preparing background documents and presentations, drafting meeting minutes, etc.;• Provide coordination support in securing nominations for UNODC events, communicating with nominated participants, following up on any queries, organizing and coordinating filing and maintaining of mailing lists;• Translate daily correspondence and project-related documents, reports and other written outputs.

Contributed in the following activities of GLO.ACT-Bangladesh, UNODC -  Supported project approval process and design project activities Supported organizing events Prepared communications and advocacy materials such as webstories and event report Provided translation and interpretation services Maintained liaison with Governmental stakeholders and a strong working relationship with criminal justice actors i.e. law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, judges and protection service organizations Regularly prepared internal and external reports for the project Supported monitoring and evaluation activities in Bangladesh.  Provided admin support and maintained quarterly workplans for the project.  As part of the GLO.ACT-Bangladesh team, I provided regular support to the Counter Trafficking in Persons Technical Working Group, which is a multi-agency forum under the Bangladesh UN Network on Migration.
