I am not your average coach. My unique approach supercharges my clients’ opportunities to reach their full potential.Over a career spanning more than 20 years both in the fields of medicine and business, I have honed the skill of being able to truly listen non-judgementally. My clients experience a combination of space to think, partnered with intelligent questioning, curiosity and compassion. As a consultant physician in preventative health and wellness, I learnt that advice and tools were not enough to help patients meet their health goals. I achieved my greatest successes with patients when I employed a coaching approach to ensure the patient took ownership and responsibility for the outcome. I have a special interest in health and wellness and its integration with high performance in organisations. I have genuine expertise in areas such as energy management, recovery and mental health. As a seasoned business coach I bring this unique perspective to my work with partners, directors and high potentials at global financial, law and professional service organisations. This builds on my other corporate work which has ranged from advising digital health SMEs to consulting for a Big Four professional services company.My coaching blends my professional experience with empathy, warmth and passion to challenge people to get the absolute best out of themselves. To push on, and achieve more.

This resulted in faster, more targeted review of patients' diabetes control. Resulting diabetes care quality was consistently benchmarked in the top quartile of national performance.Making big change happen by combining both conceptual and analytical thinking:I was part of a group to design and implement a national audit program looking at the quality of in-hospital diabetes care across more than 200 U.K. trusts. My role as a clinical expert in the group included:design-devising easy to use questionnaires for patients and staff; & a tool to capture the dataanalysis -interpreting the implications of the results gatheredpresentation - sharing ideas and best practice at regional workshopsThe audit led to major changes in prescribing safety and quality improvement across the U.K.It has become a national performance indicator for Trusts.
