I worked in the research and development division at PT Nusantara Segar Global or commonly called Javafresh, a company that focuses on fruits export and import activities.I was assigned to do a research or trial and error on how to extend the shelf life and maintain the quality of mangosteen fruit that will be distributed to other countries. I also went directly to the mangosteen plantation in Tasikmalaya to see and evaluate the process of harvesting until the packaging process before distribution. Other than that I also got the chance to learn about the export process in Indonesia regarding the rules, requirements as well as the overall system. In addition, I am also responsible for making regular reports on the development of research results.
